church at watershed

we believe the the church is not a building, but the people who follow Jesus.  this particular church calls itself watershed because a watershed is a “unique or historical, important change of course.”  we believe that Jesus is that change of course for all of humanity.  we meet toghether on sundy mornings at 10am at 5551 hilliard rome office park, hilliard, oh 43026 to celebrate Christ and what he is doing in our lives.  this is also when we listen to the word of God together in order to be better equipped to show Christ to those with whom we interact in our daily lives.

this page gives you the chance to meet our staff and get an overview of what we believe and what our core values are.  we are part of the wesleyan church, which comes from the same theological background as the nazarenes and the methodists.  that does not mean that we are anything like any church that you have ever attended before.  we like to do things out of the ordinary.  we have tattooed a guy during a church service before as well as taken communion (or the Lord’s supper) with coke and peanut butter and jelly.  and to be totally honest, if you don’t know what communion is, then you are exactly the kind of person we’d like to see at one of our services.  our focus is always Jesus Christ.  everything we do is for him, by him, about him, and through him.  we just happen to like to have fun and be totally honest about where we are and what God is doing in us.  this means that you will meet people without masks who have real issues and real struggles – the difference is that we trust, love, and follow Jesus, holding each other up along the way.
